Guilherme Dable - 1976, Porto Alegre, where he lives and works.
He is currently a PhD candidate in Visual Poetics at IA/UFRGS, where he completed his undergraduate and Master's degree in Visual Arts, having also studied with Jailton Moreira, Charles Watson, among others.
He was one of the founders and co-manager of Atelier Subterrânea, an independent space based in Porto Alegre, active between 2006 and 2015.
His research mainly covers the languages of drawing and painting, expanding to investigations that flirt with the occupation of space, not only focusing on the traditional supports of languages. The work considers relationships between architecture, landscape and the diagrammatic characteristics of the language of drawing, eventually using unconventional methods to produce drawings, such as prepared instruments or the dampness of shoes.

He was artist-in-residence at the Vermont Studio Center, United States (2015), and at the Torus Residency Artist, Garibaldi/RS (2018).
